About this game

Play Zenta Pixel free online — a pixel shooter puzzle like the conveyor colour shooter from the mobile ads, no download. Tap a shooter and it rides the belt around a block egg, popping every block of its colour it can see, while leftovers wait in a five-slot tray. Under the blocks hides a pixel pet that hatches when you clear the egg: 40 chicks, hens, calves and cows to collect across 50 levels with keys, ice and mystery shooters.

How to play Zenta Pixel

Zenta Pixel is a level-based colour shooter puzzle. Each level is an egg built from coloured pixel blocks, with a conveyor belt running around it. Below sit queues of shooters, each one a colour with a number: its ammo.

Tap the front shooter of a queue and it jumps onto the belt. As it rides once around the egg it looks straight in along every row and column, and if the first block it sees is its colour, it pops it. When its ammo runs out it disappears. If it gets back to the start with ammo left, it waits in the tray, and you can launch it again later.

Controls

Tap or click a shooter to launch it. On a keyboard, 1 to 4 launch the queue fronts, Q to Y launch from the tray and H shows a hint.

The pet inside

Under the blocks hides a pixel pet. Clear the whole egg and it hatches into your pet album: chicks, hens, calves and cows in five colours, then golden versions.

Tips

The tray holds only five shooters, and a shooter coming back to a full tray ends the level. Launch colours you can actually see, use the tray before the queues when it fills up, and peel the outside first. Keys hidden under blocks open locked queues, ice blocks need two hits and grey shooters show their colour only at the front.

Scoring

Your score is the highest level you have cleared. Finish a level with few shooters returning to the tray for three stars.
